Denise In Eduardo Delgado Ortiz displays his knowledge of literature with the taste of intrigue, war, eroticism and death that he properly handled, where the dramatic tension and rigor in the literary construction complement. Denise journey takes place in a temporal 1830-1790, a time of great human and social tensions in the Patriotic War of Independence. Party with the battle La Ladera, which converge in cahoots the enemies of liberation. Jose Maria Obando the traitor in cahoots with José Hilario López, facing the army of Bolivar, have their masquerade in Santa Fe de Bogotá, where it weaves a terrible crime. .

Prologue.
Denise started writing why it was an idea that haunted me since childhood. I wanted to know this woman by the fire of his passion had desecrated the soul of a society and an era. Have you ever heard my father in one of those gatherings that used to do, speak of these ladies as well as being treacherous fine had been born and lived in colonial times and the morbid religiosity that within this period were, nevertheless, frivolous. Rich ladies married to men of prestige in the clear night took off their clothes to enjoy the intimate pleasures of the flesh. There is no shortage in these sets swashbuckling heroes or brazier landowners and shield, which makes the story more interesting.
.
in the colony and in the War of Independence there is also a strong desire in all sectors of society, men and women overlapped where treason and disloyalty determined their actions. Today they weigh like lead into the soul of our modern society. As far as the hypocrisy and political and religious beliefs influenced these beings. Is a aspect worth writing novels, the stigma of a woman, a people or a man. Denise is proposed to unravel this mystery of betrayal and death.

not enough for it to have papers and files on hand, it was clear that if he intended to write a historical novel, I had to enter the soul of the time: the environment, landscape, tone, light and shadow are only the epidermis. As Germain says Arciniegas, sensitivity is required in order to interpret the wishes of the characters, and some imagination to see the shades that cover the skin for men in the soul that the flesh: she really needed to interpret events of an era.

The writer is a creator and he is given to paint some figures, anchoring in the imagination, can be grotesque, beautiful, emotional, sensitive, leading to leave a true picture of life. Can we pretend to detail in some features, but what can not lie is in the set. The novel is a fictional account of an event, is a document of an era, as the story plunges into the past, the historical novel makes the memory and imagination key to understanding the present and envision the future.
